Spec Review
Amethyst bed mat specification review
Use one approval record to reconcile the mat, controller, construction and documents before comparing the commercial offer.
Check the complete configuration, not just the name
Write the requested configuration once and ask every supplier to respond against it. Where a value is undecided, state the decision needed. This checklist contains procurement questions rather than verified specifications; none of its entries confirms an operating limit or a supplied component.
| Requirement | Buyer input | Supplier confirmation |
|---|---|---|
| Product | Intended placement, usable mat dimensions and layer or insert preferences. | Exact model identifier, dimensional drawing and construction description. |
| Control & supply | Desired adjustment and US power-input requirements. | Rated voltage in V, rated power in W, controller limits and instructions. |
| Order | Pieces per configuration, defined set contents and destination. | MOQ, carton count, carry accessories and separately charged items. |
| Evidence | Label, manual, sample inspection and specialist document questions. | Manufacturer, model coverage, revision and stated limitations of each file. |
Do not use a heating-control display as proof of surface temperature or uniformity. If those matters affect your purchase, ask the supplier to describe the measurement location, conditions and method for the proposed model. Your qualified reviewer determines whether additional testing is required.
Record the evidence and the unresolved choice
| Evidence layer | Status | Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Buyer brief | Requested values supplied or marked for clarification. | Buyer |
| Quoted model | Written confirmation pending for construction and controller. | Supplier |
| Document review | Scope checked against exact model, manufacturer and revision. | Appointed reviewer |
| Order approval | Accepted deviations and commercial scope recorded. | Buyer |
Compare material and service trade-offs explicitly. A removable outer covering may change cleaning and replacement questions; a fixed covering requires its own handling instructions. A customized retail pack may change approval work and MOQ; a plain bulk pack may simplify artwork while shifting labeling tasks to the buyer. Obtain written supplier answers before deciding which route fits the program.
For a sample review, record the model and quotation revision, measure the agreed dimensions, check accessory count, inspect the label and compare controller functions with the instructions. Mark each observation as checked, deviating or unresolved. This is an inspection plan for procurement, not a claim that a sample has passed testing.
Budget comparisons need currency and scope. A per-unit target for the mat alone cannot be compared directly with a whole-order target that includes packaging and freight. The sourcing service can coordinate consistent questions; your team approves the specification, evidence and supplier. Review the procurement brief for quantity normalization.
